Terms

The agreement between you and ScreenFeel: what you may do with the app, what a subscription involves, and what each of us is responsible for. Written to be read, not to be survived.

Who you are dealing with

ScreenFeel is built and operated by an independent sole trader established in Spain. Support, account questions and legal notices all reach us through the contact link on this website.

These terms cover the ScreenFeel desktop application and this website. Your privacy policy sits alongside them and explains what happens to your data; where the two overlap, the privacy policy is the more specific statement and governs.

The licence you get

ScreenFeel is licensed to you, not sold. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app on machines you control, for your own purposes — private or commercial, at work or at home, with no separate business licence to buy. That licence lasts as long as you keep to these terms. What it does not allow:

ScreenFeel's source code, prompts, lens designs, interface and branding remain ours. Nothing here transfers any of it to you. Being able to read code that ships on your machine is not permission to use it.

Your account

Capturing, editing, redacting, the local library and the presenter tools need no account at all. An account exists only to run the AI lenses. You sign in with a link sent to your email address, so keeping that mailbox secure is what keeps your account secure. One account is for one person; it is yours and not to be shared or sold. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Free, Pro and credits

The free plan is not a trial. Capture, the full editor, redaction, the unlimited local library, search and the presenter tools stay free, without limits, for as long as you use the app. A free account adds a monthly allowance of AI credits; Pro raises that allowance and changes nothing else — the lenses are identical on both plans.

A credit is one run of one lens, priced by how much work the lens does. Allowances are granted per calendar month and are spent, not banked: whatever you do not use does not carry into the next month, and credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded, transferred or exchanged. The current allowances and prices are always the ones shown on the pricing page.

Paying, and who you are paying

Prices are shown in euros and include VAT, so the figure you see is the figure that gets charged. Local taxes may change the total that appears at checkout depending on where you are.

If you subscribe through this website, Stripe is the merchant of record. You are buying from Stripe, which handles the payment, calculates and remits the tax, and appears on your statement. If you install through the Microsoft Store and subscribe there, Microsoft is the merchant of record and its terms govern that purchase. In both cases we never see or store your card details.

Renewal, cancellation and refunds

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel, and cancelling is a single action in your account. When you cancel, your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for and then drops to the free plan. Your captures are unaffected — they were never on our servers to begin with.

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK you have fourteen days to withdraw from a purchase. Digital services are the exception to that: by starting to use your AI credits within those fourteen days you ask for immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once the service has been fully delivered. Where a purchase went through the Microsoft Store, Microsoft's refund policy applies to it.

None of that displaces a right you have by law. If something was faulty, misdescribed or charged in error, tell us and we will put it right.

Using ScreenFeel responsibly

ScreenFeel photographs whatever is on your screen, which makes you the one who decides what it is pointed at. You agree not to:

Your captures, and what the AI gives back

Your screenshots are yours. We claim no ownership of anything you capture, and we do not use it to train anything. To answer a lens we need permission to transmit and process that one image for exactly as long as the answer takes, and that is the entire extent of the licence you give us.

Lens answers are produced by AI models and can be wrong, incomplete or confidently mistaken — transcriptions, translations, extracted tables and diagnoses alike. Check anything that matters. ScreenFeel is a tool for reading screenshots, not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial or security advice, and decisions you take on the strength of an answer remain yours.

Availability and changes

Everything local — capturing, editing and your library — keeps working whether or not our service is reachable. The AI lenses need the service, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability: maintenance, provider outages and problems beyond our control happen. We may add, change or retire features, and we may change prices; a change to what you pay applies from your next billing period and never retroactively, and material changes to these terms are published here with a new date before they take effect.

Ending this agreement

You can stop at any time by cancelling your subscription, deleting your account or uninstalling the app. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, and where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first. If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused part of what you have paid. Your local library belongs to you and stays on your device either way.

Liability

ScreenFeel is provided as it is. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit — and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are untouched by anything written here. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or data, or for anything arising from what an AI answer said, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Law, disputes and contact

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, that choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

Questions about these terms, your account or a payment reach us through the contact link on this website. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
