What you get back
One bold sentence stating the single most important difference — or saying plainly that the two are effectively identical. Then, under What changed, up to eight differences, most important first, each naming the element, where it sits, and how it differs, with the old value against the new wherever both are visible. Anything present in only one capture is listed under Only in the first or Only in the second. Anti-aliasing, compression artifacts, cursor and scrollbar positions and timestamps that merely ticked forward are ignored. The older capture is the baseline, the verdict is saved onto the newer one, and an Ask about both composer continues the conversation with both images.
When to reach for it
Regression checks after a release. Reviewing a design revision. Spotting what a colleague changed in a spreadsheet. Proving a fix actually landed. Two captures, ticked in the Library.
What leaves your machine
