A step-by-step guide from the screenshots you already took
You did the thing. Now someone else needs to do it. Make a guide writes the instructions from the captures you took along the way.
Runs on the Balanced tier — 2 credits per capture, up to 8 captures at once.
What you get back
A heading naming the task, inferred from what the screens show; one sentence on what the guide achieves and where it starts; then one Step section per image, in order, opening with the imperative instruction — click, type, choose — and naming the real controls, labels and values visible in that image, quoted exactly, with at most two supporting sentences on what the screen should look like or what to watch out for. It finishes with a Result section: how to confirm it worked, from what the final image shows. The guide is saved onto the last capture and can be copied or downloaded as Markdown.
When to reach for it
Onboarding documents. A support article. The answer to “how did you do that?”. Anything you would otherwise write by alt-tabbing between screenshots and a text editor. Two to eight captures, oldest first.
What leaves your machine
The captures you ticked, once, when you press the action — and nothing else. Each image is read by a private model under zero data retention, the result is saved locally onto the capture, and no image is kept anywhere. The price is on the button before anything is sent.
